Set up the 6sense integration with SourceForge

Setting up the integration between 6sense and SourceForge is simple.

Step 1: Log into your 6sense account and click the "Gear" icon in the top right of your screen.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Intent section and click on SourceForge.

Step 3: Click on the blue "Connect" button.

Step 4: Click the "Copy" icon to copy your 6sense Customer Data API Token.

Step 5: Log into your SourceForge account and listing admin section. Navigate to the "Integrations" tab in the left side menu of your SourceForge admin section. Then, click the "Set Up" button next to 6sense.

Step 6: Paste the 6sense Customer Data API Token you copied from your 6sense account into the 6sense Customer Data API Token field and then click the green Save button.

Step 7: You should see a success message letting your SourceForge Intent Data has been successfully integrated and will start appearing within 6sense within 24-48 hours.

You should also now see your eligible SourceForge business software listings on the left under the 6sense Product Mapping section, and you can use the dropdown on the right to map it to your 6sense account product.

That's it! Expect your SourceForge Intent Data to be synced to your 6sense account within 24-48 hours, and then daily after that.

Creating Segments within 6sense using SourceForge Intent Data

Once your SourceForge Intent Data syncs to your 6sense account within 24-48 hours of activating the integration, you'll be able to create Segments inside 6sense using the SourceForge Intent Data.

Here's how:

Step 1: When you're logged into 6sense, hover over the left side menu to expand it, and click "Segments"

Step 3: Under "Select Segment Type", select "Using Filters" and click the blue "Create" button

Step 4: Under "Add Filters", select the "Intent" dropdown, and you'll be able to see all of your SourceForge Intent Filters
