Zapier Integration

9min

SourceForge integrates with Zapier so that you can push your Buyer Intent data to any application that Zapier supports. View the official SourceForge Zapier integration.

Zapier lets you connect SourceForge to 7,000+ other web services. Automated connections called Zaps, set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

If you do not have a Zapier account, sign up for a free Zapier account - from there you can jump right in.

Setting up the integration between Zapier and SourceForge is simple.

First, navigate to the "Integrations" tab in the left side menu of your SourceForge admin section. Then, click the "Set Up" button next to Zapier.

Authenticate Zapier

To begin the SourceForge to Zapier integration implementation, simply click the "Sign up" or "Log in" button. Log in to Zapier if you already have a Zapier account, or sign up for a new Zapier account if you don't.

8. Now it's time to create a filter. Click the plus (+) sign under your SourceForge action

9. Then, click on "Filter" on the right side of the popup

10. Now you can create your filters. Use the dropdowns to set the criteria. The point of this step is to enable you to define which company records get pushed through Zapier. You should use these filters to define which companies you want to get notified about, such as "only companies in the United States", or "only companies with over 10,000 employees" or "only companies in the United States with over 1,000 employees". You can create any filters that you want. This is important so you do not waste tasks on companies that are not in your ICP.

11. Now it's time to create the Action that connects Zapier and SourceForge to the application of your choice. Click on "Action".

12. Use the search box in the popup to search for the application you want to integrate with. In this example, we're using Salesforce.

13. Now you can create your Event and define how you want the application you chose to interact with SourceForge Intent Data. There are near infinite possibilities here, and the options differ based on which application you choose. Reach out to your SourceForge account rep if you would like assistance.
