Reviewflowz Integration

6min

We’ve partnered with review monitoring solution Reviewflowz to allow you to download & export your SourceForge reviews to Excel & Google Sheets.

Reviewflowz provides a 14 day free trial, during which review exports are limited to the latest 25 reviews. If you need to export more reviews, you’ll need an active subscription with them. Plans start from $45/month.

#1 Find your listing, and load your SourceForge reviews

Head over to Reviewflowz. Select SourceForge as the platform, and enter your product name. Hit “Search”, and click the right product from the dropdown list.

Note: if you’re having trouble finding your product, you can enter your SourceForge product URL directly into the search bar.

After you click a product from the list, you’ll be prompted to sign up or sign in if you haven’t already.

Reviewflowz provide a free trial for 14 days, but review exports are limited to 25 reviews during that time.

#2 Download your reviews to CSV

Once you’re signed up, you should land on your profile’s page, which would look something like this

Exporting your reviews is as simple as clicking that button.

If you don’t have an active subscription, you’ll be prompted to download a free sample of 25 rows, or subscribe to access more reviews.

That’s it! Export files look something like this

Bonus: Sync automatically to a Google Sheet

If you want to keep an active Google Spreadsheet with all your reviews synced automatically, you can create an automation flow on Reviewflowz to do just that.

We’ll start by creating a channel – i.e. Connecting a spreadsheet to Reviewflowz. You can do that here.

Click “Google Sheets” and authenticate with your Google account. Reviewflowz will create a new spreadsheet on your drive, and have access only to that specific spreadsheet.

Once the spreadsheet is created and connected, you’ll be able to create an automation flow

Select “Notifications” if you want to sync reviews with your google spreadsheet. If you want instead to sync aggregated data on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, select “Reports”.

The spreadsheet you just created is pre-selected. You can decide to filter notifications if you only want some reviews to filter through – for example sync only positive or negative reviews.

You can also have Reviewflowz translate reviews automatically to any language.

Finally, select the review sources (profiles) you want to track.

When you’re ready, click “Save”.

If you want to start syncing immediately, click “Yes”.

You’ll then have the opportunity to seed your spreadsheet with past reviews.

Note: this won’t work if you don’t have an active subscription with Reviewflowz when you click “Yes”.

That’s it! Your spreadsheet will now have all past reviews, and new reviews will be added automatically.

You can now build pivot tables & charts on top of your data, or use the spreadsheet as a data source on tools like Looker or Tableau.
