SourceForge Badges and Awards extremely powerful tool for getting recognized on SourceForge as a best-in-class solution in your industry, and makes your solution stand out to prospective buyers during their evaluation process. The Badges section offers you a library of SourceForge and Slashdot badges. There are a number of benefits to placing a badge on your website. Placing the SourceForge badge on your company website is the best way to show off your user reviews to potential customers visiting your website. It also encourages current customers to leave you a review on your SourceForge software review page. The star rating on your badge will automatically reflect the star rating on your SourceForge page. If you do not have any reviews yet, you can still place the badge on your site, and the stars will be replaced by a "Write a Review" button until you have at least one customer review. There are also different badge options that do not include review stars.
Once the badge is placed on your site, our system automatically recognizes that and will enhance your paid listing by displaying a SourceForge Partner badge on your listing, which increases exposure and clickthrough rate. This entire process is free of charge.
Your product also has a listing on Slashdot, our partner site with its own business software and services comparison directory. All of the above also applies to your product’s Slashdot listing if you place a Slashdot badge on your website.
You can access your badge library in the "Badges" tab within your SourceForge admin section.
To place a badge on your website, simply click on the badge you want within your badge library (in the Badges tab), and you will be presented with a snippet of code. Then, simply copy & paste the code snippet into the source code of your website corresponding to the location on the page you'd like it to appear.

The Leader Award is the most prestigious award a product or service can earn on SourceForge.
SourceForge Top Performer
The SourceForge Top Performer Award award recognizes exceptional companies and products that garner enough outstanding user reviews to put them in the top tenth percentile of highly reviewed products on SourceForge.
SourceForge Review Stars Badge
The SourceForge Review Stars badge showcases the average review rating of your product or service out of 5 stars. The Review Stars badge can be placed on your website, and the rating shown on the badge will automatically stay synchronized with the review rating of your product page on SourceForge.
SourceForge “Customers Love Us” Badge
The SourceForge “Customers Love Us” badge can be placed on a company website, posted on social media, used in email signatures, trading show booth backdrops, or print media campaigns. This badge conveys the message that your product or service is well-liked by your customers. If this badge is placed on your website, then customers can click over to your SourceForge listing directly from your website.
